“Good bye, China” photography project is about people, mainly families, who are leaving Shenzhen, China for good after spending significant amount of time as temporary residents. Alexandra had photographed families at that transient moment in between their past and future, with all the belongings partially or completely packed, couple of weeks before or just at the day before the day X. She was asking families to recall their first impression of China when they have just arrived and also, to share what are they feeling at the present moment, ready to leave. It is an ongoing project which will eventually end up with the photographer’s own goodbye story.
